Started testing designs and looking for the best sunglasses that incorporated design and functionality for runners and for anyone.

Prototype and Finances

Started testing first prototypes like The Ogs and Novas with family and friends, started getting investors and people to support us.

October 2025

Recognition and final changes

Received industry recognition for design excellence and great reviews from family, friends and investors.

January 2026

First release of Sunglasses to Public

First release, products are ready to ship! We continue to innovate and expand our collection with new styles.

A Letter from the Founder

We started Tune Shades with a simple belief: your music shouldn’t disconnect you from the world around you.As a runner, I was constantly fighting the same frustration, AirPods falling out mid run, breaking my focus and ruining the rhythm. I wanted to stay in the zone with my music, but I also needed to hear my surroundings for safety and awareness. Traffic, other runners, nature, those sounds matter lol.

I looked for alternatives. What I found were products that were bulky, uncomfortable, or prohibitively expensive, solutions that felt out of reach for something that should be simple and accessible.

So I decided to build my own.

What if your sunglasses could deliver high-quality audio without anything going in your ears? What if you could move freely, running, training, living, without constantly adjusting earbuds or feeling cut off from the world?

We began building and testing prototypes with one goal in mind: seamless sound, all-day comfort, and full awareness. Tune Shades combine premium sunglasses with open-ear audio, letting you enjoy your favorite playlists while staying present and safe wherever you go.

What started as a solution to a personal problem quickly became something bigger. From early runs to everyday wear, people started noticing, and asking where they could get a pair.

Tune Shades are made for runners, movers, and anyone who wants to experience sound differently, without compromise or an outrageous price tag.
